About Your Teacher
Nathalie El Ghoul is an Ecuadorian-Lebanese dance artist with over 30 years of international experience. Her teaching is warm, inclusive, and deeply rooted in the belief that dance is a dialogue between the body and the soul.
About the Class
Find your rhythm. Release tension. Move with grace.
Oriental Flow is a unique movement practice designed to help you reconnect with your body. It sits at the intersection of several worlds: the soulful artistry of Oriental Dance, the fluidity of Contemporary Movement, and the mindful release of Yoga.
In this 5-session course, we move away from "stiff" exercise and toward a natural, liquid way of moving. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or someone simply looking for a mindful Saturday morning practice, this course offers a welcoming space to explore your body’s potential.
The Two-Part Method:
Phase 1: The Reset (Somatic Preparation) We begin by softening the body. Through guided breathwork and gentle spinal movements, we aim to release chronic tension and "unlock" the joints, creating a sense of internal space.
Phase 2: The Dance (Oriental Technique) Once the body is relaxed and open, we transition into the beautiful, rhythmic principles of Oriental dance—focusing on fluid hip movements, elegant posture, and expressive spirals.
