This workshop is for dancers who already know the basics and want to go deeper. Using the first copla as our base, we’ll focus on musicality, partner connection, and presence — the subtle “conversation” that makes Sevillanas truly engaging. Afterward, enjoy a festive practice evening to dance freely and connect with other flamenco lovers in Ghent city.

What is Sevillanas?
Sevillanas is a lively, passionate Spanish partner dance, exuberantly performed at Andalusian ferias. Danced in 4 coplas, each song tells a story of encounter, confrontation, quarrel, or love. 👉 No partner? No problem! Dancers switch partners throughout the night, making it inviting for everyone.

⚠️ Note: Please wear real dance shoes, socks, or dance barefoot in the studios of Shoonya Dance Centre.
