"Bridging Continents, Inspiring Artists:
The Eurasia Dance Project at Shoonya Dance Centre"

The Shoonya Dance Centre is one of the partners of the Eurasia project. The Eurasia project provides dancers and choreographers who lack the means to finance themselves with the opportunity to study abroad. This allows them to share and gain experiences, participate in internships, and collaborate on shows and performances.

Led by Stefano Fardelli, this unique project was established in 2016 in collaboration with the "Instituto Italiano di Cultura" in Mumbai. The Eurasia Dance Project serves as a cultural exchange platform and meeting point between Europe and Asia, offering students the chance to audition for the top academies on both continents without leaving their country.

Students selected through the auditions receive scholarships for three-year programs at the participating academies. Upon graduating in their chosen field, Shoonya Dance Centre commits to providing artistic internships and accommodation for these individuals. During a two-week period, they will have access to the infrastructure and receive the necessary guidance in creating a new performance, which will be presented at the Shoonya Dance Centre.
