Led by the talented teacher Swapnil Dagliya, this 5-week dance series offers an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Indian Folk Dance - Garba, from Gujarat, India. Whether you're a novice or an experienced dancer, the classes are designed to cater to all skill levels and will help you develop a solid foundation while exploring the intricacies of this mesmerizing dance form.

Swapnil Dagliya, our expert instructor, will be your guiding light throughout the dance series. With his extensive experience and infectious enthusiasm, Swapnil will ensure that you develop a strong foundation in Indian Folk Dance - Garba. Starting with the basics, you'll gradually progress to more advanced techniques, including spins and jumps that breathe life into this exhilarating dance form.   • As the Garba dance series draws to a close, you'll have an exciting opportunity to participate in a group choreography showcasing authentic Indian Folk Dance - Garba moves. Although joining the performance is not mandatory, it is an amazing chance to display your newfound skills and be part of the grand Shoonya Navratri 2023 celebration event on October 21st and 22nd. Dance enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and skill levels will come together to revel in the spirit of unity and joy, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Swapnil Dagliya
Swapnil Dagliya's dance education involves training and graduating from Broadway Dance Center in New York City and Opus Ballet in Florence,Italy. He trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and various other styles. He has also attended workshops with the Pulse Faculty (Choreographers on So You Think You Can Dance) and with the critically acclaimed Pilobolus Dance Theatre/Company.Now, based in India he also teaches in the University of Pune, Flames University along with other schools and colleges. He organises a contemporary dance festival titled - Avayava in Pune which hosts international choreographers for workshops, dance on film and performances. He is also one of the founding members of the 'International Dance Retreat' -- a dance vacation for artists looking to get away and have fun while learning to dance in a non-competitive environment. He is the Creative Director of SPACE (Swapnil's Performing Arts & Contemporary Ensemble). At his, SPACE Studio in Pimpri, Pune he teaches regular classes and organises workshops with amazing local and International teachers in movement styles like Contemporary, Salsa, Tango, Hip-Hop, Butoh, Theatre, Yoga and the like.
