Sheyla is a professional dancer and lecturer from the Czech Republic, where she has been active since 2006. During her dancing career she taught and performed in countries such as Austria, India, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and others. Currently she teaches regular courses and seminars throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. She has devoted herself to oriental (belly) dance and, in addition, she intensively studies Egyptian folklore for 12 years. She successfully spread knowledge of Egyptian folklore in Czechia, founded a folkloric group Al Fayyum dancers, bellydance group Awaleem and show troupe Aphrodisia.
Dancing has become its mission and is therefore focused on the education and popularization of oriental (belly) dance in the Czech Republic and is the creator of many projects that aim to present these styles in their artistic and authentic form, support and connect the dance community. She created magazine Orient Express, and organized Bellydance conferences for professional oriental dancers and teachers.
